Flu and Guillain Barre

I think your article is informative and does something that others haven't done which is to look into the causes of the flu. The conclusion regarding vitamin D also seem worth exploring as I don't see any adverse reactions.
As to the Guillain Barre, the incidence of contracting this is about 1.5 per 100,000 each year. So to say the 1 in 1,000,000 is the chance that it will be caused by the flu. I have had and am still suffering from Guillain Barre and it didn't come from a flu shot. However, my grandfather died from something that had the same symptoms of it, and his son (my uncle) also contracted it, and now I did. Everyone will tell you it's not inherited, yet they can't tell you why you get it. That said, I would prefer that my children do not have to get the shot due to what I believe is a genetic predisposition or susceptabilty. However, my youngest child must get the shot in order to attend school.
