A little bit off topic, but... what's with the suggestive angle of this photo?

I think she's CUTE. If her pose is suggestive to you, that tell me that your mind is open to suggestion. =-]

Whether she's cute or not, the camera is like pointed right down her loose-fitting jeans. I find that a little questionable...

That's funny. I never even noticed her jeans. I just noticed the apple and the cute expression on her face. ha.

Sex sells. And if it sells apples, so be it, I guess. I just had one for lunch today.

So the girl represents sex because she has boobs? Because she is pigeon toed? Because her hipbone is showing? Or just because she's a girl and good looking?

Look at how the different sexs saw this photo: men see a chick in a suggestive pose, showing off her hip bones, women see a cute face and a big apple, and (maybe) felt a quirk of envy over what a great body this gal has. I'm not going to say that either reaction was the right or wrong one, it's just that these seem to be the usual reactions to ads like this. What would have been the reaction if it'd been a bland looking middle aged man holding an apple in a completely boring pose? Would it have caught the same amount of attention as this photo has? She's a girl and good looking, and that's what the media like's to use, (even if they are being good and selling apples)and everyone responds to pretty people. You have to admit that even though the obvious focus of the phot is the apple, the girl is a bit distracting- why use her?
I love how this one photo has brought this many comments... I"m having another apple for lunch today, by the way. :)

Yeah, I just had an apple for breakfast. Yum! That sexy hipbone totally converted me.

You're absolute right. This image just brought to the fore the fact that men are visually stimulated in a sexual way.

I picked her from the google lineup of images from the search "apple a day". And I picked her because she is striking. More striking than I imagined....and it is entertaining, I agree.

God, that picture is cute as hell!

Hey, I'm doing something right, yay. I eat at least three or four apples a week, even more if I'm on a "good" week. Woo!

I have a complete apple addiction. I eat one almost every day, sometimes two, and it has to be organic because the skin is RUINED on conventional apples with all that wax and shit. I still miss the apple orchards of my hometown in Yakima, WA. I never understood people who peeled their apples. WEIRD!

I'm going to eat one RIGHT NOW!

(I LOVE your health study/article posts, always read them even if I never ever comment...)

Well I'm glad that you do occasionally comment---and that you're an apple addict. Of course, I already knew that you're into HEALTH. Are you lifting much these days?

Much to tell, actually. I've been bicycling like mad this spring and summer so far and hadn't been lifting for about two years (longest break in my lifting since I was 19). So my knees started getting very angry about 5-5 weeks ago and I got right in to PT with the guy who fixed my torn rotator cuff. He is seriously buffing up my legs and I LOVE it. I mean, cycling has gotten them pretty big and strong, he is just evening out the strength to other muscles as well. Knees are getting happier by the week. Which is good because I'm leaving my job in three weeks and am going to ride my bike for the next year at least! First the Great Divide trail from Canada to Mexico and then... Africa. Yow.

Lots of change happening all around. When are you moving north?
