My friend who is the Medical Examiner tells me his workload increases significantly in summer due to GC deaths.

I read this book many years ago - I bought it as a joke for a friend who wouldn't get too close to the edge when we went to the Grand Canyon. Prior to giving it to her I skimmed it...and then devoured it.

I don't know why I found it so fascinating. I will say that I became a much more aware and safety-conscious hiker afterwards.
