So lately I've been considering going back to school and the idea actually holds some appeal for me for the first time in a few years. This is because I've abruptly realized that going and getting some compsci degree isn't really what I want to do.

I think that sounds like an absolutely fascinating thing to pursue. Furthermore, there's absolutely nothing wrong with pursuing your passion and picking up useful bits of stuff along the way. This is why when I eventually get back to school I'll probably 'major' in liberal arts and just take whatever classes interest me until I find out what the hell I want to do
