Offered: Handbound blank book

Offer: I will make one personalised 5x7" handbound coptic stitched blank book, containing between 100 and 250 pages. The paper will be 50# Strathmore sketch paper. Davey board (what's usually used for hardbound books) is hard for me to put hands on, so I use canvas-covered art panels like these, which I then cover with decorative papers and in one case fabric.

It turns into a bit of an art piece by the end. :) Thanks for your interest!

I'm really impressed. I cut up cereal boxes and fabric from old t-shirts to cover them when I make notebooks, heh.

having seen pix of your work. I like how clean the lines of yours are, and that you're brave enough to work with leather. It would be awesome to see more than just this listing under "offered: handbound book". :D

i have to admit that the only reason i've actually used the leather is because someone sent it to me, so i had it. it's a pain in the butt. also i've never used it to cover bookboard, because i think i'd need to scrape it first and i am so not up to that. (by which i mean "i don't have the proper tools". :D )
