Since I've never directly commissioned something from you myself, I have a question - how much input do you need/like when it comes to the content or composition of the drawing? Do you want much input about what the characters are doing, positions, expressions, overall atmosphere of the pic, etc.?

Really, it depends on how specific you want me to be. I want to do what I can to make sure you get what you want, so if you have a very specific image in mind, then it helps if you give me lots of details so I know what to shoot for. But, if you don't have specifics in mind, then you can just give me the prompt and I'll see where it takes me. It's really up to you.
