as a new yorker originally from oakland, I WANT THAT SOURDOUGH BREAD. forget everything else, the only true sourdough comes from san fran. and i don't know how you would do it, but if you could figure out a way to send me a sourdough bread bowl with some real sf clam chowder on the side, i will totally bid on that alone and help pay for postage. seriously. i DREAM about those bowls.

too bad you can't bottle some fog . . . did you think about adding something from alcatraz? a BART map? ::thinks:: PEET'S COFFEE. i know that's originally berkeley, but still! i miss peet's. and sees. every time i go home, i stock up. i was so upset when they stopped selling it at SFO.

anyway, you've made me homesick, even though my house is currently smothered in smoke. year-round fire season now? man. and due for an earthquake too. i hope this all settles down before i come home . . .

I think if they offered the clam chowder in a can or getting the recipe, just use standard canned clam chowder, it could work.

I could make an artsy way of bottling fog, painting a vial in SF icons and um... Going to twin peaks heh. Definitely could add Peets to the offer, as there's so many of them in the city.

Yeah, all this fire is freaking crazy! We got a bit of the smoke but luckily not so much. Hopefully it'll all end soon. ^^
