Great idea--especially, $50 for a whole novel? You may be selling yourself low . . .

So, how long can a human last in a vacuum? *g* I have been curious since reading a SF novel that had a woman run across the surface of the moon holding her breath from one pressurized environment to another.

Hitchiker's Guide was actually not far off when Adams said a human can last 30 sec in vacuum. I think the consensus is 20 sec before catastrophic failure of vital body functions. Astronauts have had breaches in their suits before and lived to tell the tale, so we know that humans can survive for a bit. :D

Oh, and you'd want to exhale. As much as possible.

Sure. It'll be more of a challenge, but that's awesome.

The idea is that you would give me a tech that you want and I would tell you if it's feasible, and if it's not then I make it feasible. I'm pretty good at expanding on current tech.

Would you help clean up the science of an existing world that kind of got hodge-podged together over the space of 10 years? ^^; My quantum physics is a little shakey.

If I was writing a novel right now I would so be on this in a heartbeat. Honestly, it sort of makes me want to break out the original fiction so I can use it...This many comments and you're only at $15? You deserve more than that! (You might, though, want to state your current bid - people could be getting scared off by the number of comments).

Anyway, I think it's stellar (no pun intended): my favorite sci fi/fantasy books are Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern and I was always blown away by how well explained everything was and how plausible it all seemed.
