Weird letter, May talks about the importance of a cooperative relationship with Europe on trade and security, and bleats on about our shared values in a letter designed to divorce us from all that stuff. It's beyond ridiculous really.

It was a very strange letter. The not so thinly veiled threats to reduce co-operation on security struck me as particularly badly worded. I notice this morning they are trying to distance themselves from that part of the content.

Agreed, I'm not sure of the logic of giving out veiled threats from the position of weakness we've found ourselves in either!

I wish we were discussing something else. I'm tired of hearing the rhetoric, bellicose language and "I'm right, you're wrong" riff.
