I just tagged it with it, so you can see, also, LJ_uk doesn't let you add your own new tags as they've already got the 1000 you can have. :]

i'll tell you what annoys me.

people who put (sp?) after a word they're not sure they've spelled right. with the internet and its ease of use and dictionary sites galore, certainly misspelling might be a thing of the past. there are spellcheckers built into browsers, even livejournal has a spellcheck feature. if you're that uncertain of a spelling, there are ways to correct it without having to (sp?) it.

i'm not talking about YOU specifically, valleyroad so please don't think i'm being down on you. it's one of my many pet peeves.

i work with someone who spells it as 'websights' and is always asking where the '@' key is on the keyboard, when it sometimes gets switched with '"'. Seriously, every time. I asked him why he never remembers that, he just said 'oh well someone usually tells me'

He went to uni too. Makes a good argument,he does, for cutting course numbers.

I'm a girl of 21 years from South Wales. I just woke up. In a minute I need to paint my nails and get the train to Swansea for my girlfriends' aunt's leaving party. I'm a bit worried because the young crowd (she's a step-aunt and only 24) are going to town after the family party so I have to wear my going out outfit to the family party and I'm afraid her parents will think I look tarty.

Ive got to go out later to the works xmas do (yes..in mid-jan)..but the thought of having to socialise with that lot (at 27, im going to be the second youngest there) is filling me with dread. I never go out as it is, especially not with out my core group of friends :/
As it happens I can only stay for about 2hrs anyway as it doesnt start until 8pm, and the bus I need to catch home is at 10:15pm but still..:/

Only reason im actually going too is ive been asked to go as a photographer and take random photos of people all night. That'll be fun telling them I cant stay long now!

i've seen them on a website called thinkgeek.com. here's the link.

i'm sure you can get them elsewhere, but this is where i saw it first. they are quite pricey. but you can do all sorts of cool customization stuff with the colors, which makes that hefty price tag very worth it.
