I just found out that a short story I wrote will be published this fall, here.

So maybe I started crying in this coffee shop. It's been a long, intense week.

In other word nerdy things, I am currently reading my 28th book of 2010. BUT, because I attended this conference this week, I literally just added 10 books to my To Read List ( Read more... )

Thank you thank you! Yikes, I haven't read Philip Roth either. And you just gave me more recommendations for queer authors, and I didn't even put them on this list. Wowza.

I'm obviously over the moon about being published, but I'm also overwhelmed by how much I haven't read and don't know.

Annnnnd my laptop died, once and for all, this morning, so while that sucks for writing/typing, I'm trying to see it as one less thing that can distract me from reading...
