A decade is over, friends. I know we're going to be bombarded with reflective pieces in the media, about politics and pop culture. I can't help but fall victim to it, too. ( Indulge me. )

I wish my memories of this decade were as vivid as yours. It shocks me a little bit how much of my life I really don't recall- and how fast it's all going by.

Oh, I know there are gaps. Journaling has helped me remember things, and so has writing fiction.

But I didn't even realize a decade was ending until yesterday--it IS scary!

Aww shucks! You're a good writer, too, but I'm sure all of your skills have gone to finals/papers lately.

I'm glad you survied the long distance and you'll get to see your family and the guy you love together. I always felt like i could only have 1 or the other so i think it makes all the difference when you can have both.
