The community is friends only, and you mentioned something about the sticky note.. I've never used that before. Would that be like the public entry I have posted?

yeah.

In the livebackward journal. the sticky post is the About This Journal entry at the top.

You could title it whatever you wanted, and it can contain whatever you want. I could make a members only banner to go into it if you would like.

I would suggest using it like your welcome post. You could even use it for extra links.

Since members and non-member alike will be seeing it, i would make sure it is relevant for both.

I've been working on it. You are more than welcome to make a banner if you'd like. I'll credit everything you've done for sure. I really appreciate it! :)

Sounds good to me.

I wanted to tell you that if you are active with your tags (current hunt, past hunt, etc) you can set your links in the sidebar to http://community.livejournal.com/snapshot_seeker/tag/current+hunt and it will always go to the current one. This means that you would always have to edit the tags when posting, and changing the tag on the old hunt.

Or you can just link to the scavenger+hunt tag and it will show all of the hunts, with the most recent at top. Of course this will also show any posts by members that have used that tag, which is why i suggested current hunt.

If you want, there is a way to open tagging to all members, so that they can only tag entries with current tags (no new ones!), and then tags can be more unified.

I'm here to help if you need.
