With the beginning of the new legislative season, politicians are, once again, trying to increase the mandatory attendance age from 16 to 18. Some of the local homeschoolers are perplexed by this. They can't understand why anyone would do such a thing. After all, it's expensive, and who wants 17 year olds in school who don't want to be there?

That might be true, except that this is the exact same legislation that was introduce last year, before that data was released.
