Rinoa was just walking down the hallway, looking around the University, when she heard someone swear rathr loudly.

What was that? Curious, Rinoa looked around the corner, to see Sephiroth looking rather distressed/angered. I wonder what's up with him..

Fussing with the hot treats, Sephiroth snapped his fingers in a reflexive flinch, burning the tips of his fingers. He was about to let another curse fly when he looked to the doorway, the figure of someone hovering in its opening catching his eye.

"Sh--oh... sorry." Depression set in, his hope of la amore returned crushed by the pretty feminine figure. He blushed, looking down at the steaming bread, he re-mitted a hand and held up the tray. "Would you like one?"

Rinoa slowly approached the silver-haired man. She studied him for awhile, her gaze lowered to the tray he was holding.

"Sure.. I guess so." She said, taking a piece.

He watched her expectantly, curious as to her response. It was the first go for this recipe and her judgment on his talents would go miles if he would ever try this one again... or offer them up to complete strangers any time soon.

"Sooo... what do you think? Are they paperweights or are they sufferable?" He pinched off the crown to one, the lightly toasted top crumbling easily. Tossing it back, he had to throw his head back as well, open mouth breathing as he mouthed around the hot bread. "HOOOOT!!"

She couldn't help but giggle at his action. She took a small bite out of the top of the muffin, taking her time to taste it.

"Actually, they're pretty good!" She said. She didn't expect him to be so good in baking.

Hitting up the tap for a drink of water, Seph turned a sheepish grin to his visitor. "Name's Sephiroth, by the way... you are?" Filling a clean glass for her, he abandoned the muffins for social graces. "If you would like some, here." He offered it up, extending a warm smile her way as well.

"My name is Rinoa.. " She paused for a moment. " .. Heartilly."

She never really liked her last name, and she was never really fond of her parents, especially her father.

"So.. tell me more about yourself, Sephiroth.. " She said, smiling gently.

"Dorm proctor, English Prof, and chef to boot... there's not much else to know other than I enjoy moonlight strolls on the beach and I'm a sucker for Yeats." Atrocious flirt? That was something for her to decide, not for him to be spreading around. Winking, his grin blossomed as he sided up to her.

"Rinoa... that's a pretty name. Too young to be a student, aren't you a bit lost Miss Teen Dream? Wandering aimlessly about a college campus?" The tease was gently directed, his eyes taking her in to the finest detail, his smile neverending.

Rinoa looked away and blushed. "Well, I'm pretty new here.. I just transfered from my old school.. I was just finding my way around this place, you know, so I won't get lost later."

She started to survey her surroudings, it seemed pretty neat and clean.

Setting the ignored glass down on a coaster, Seph gave her a moment's reprieve. "So you are a student here. I had been hoping as such... maybe I'll be seeing you in one of my classes." Her attempts to buffer his charms only encouraged his advances, charging his smile even brighter and drawing him closer.

"Would you like me to give you a tour of the campus? Point out some of the finer nooks and crannies of good ol' TTU?" He tipped his head towards hers, intending on catching her eye again. "I am free... now... if you'd like?"
