For the huge conspiracy... I think it's easier for a lot of people to believe there /is/ a conspiracy; big pharmacy companies do have their bad points, in addition to their good. Maybe it also has something to do with how fast medical science has come in the last century? *scratches head*
I do think an AIDS cure could come in the next century or so-compare to 20 years ago, when its treatment wasn't quite as good as now.
