Tea Party

I went to my first-ever tea party today. It was so much fun! I'm not normally a tea drinker, but I had so many different kinds of tea today that I might start drinking hot tea on a regular basis (hooray for caffeine addiction!). I even went home with a variety of samples to help me on my way to tea madness.

My fifth cup of tea - peach!

the food looks great, you are indeed making me hungry.

I like the dusting on the the little muffins. You have to do that otherwise you miss out on the whole 3-d thing.

Nice job, were these mostly homemade?

Peach-flavored anything is usually good. :) But, yes, peach tea is quite delicious. =9

I didn't even think of the whole "missing out on the 3-D effect" of the rose muffins if they weren't sprinkled with confectioner's sugar. You make a good point.

The first two foods (punchrolls and mazarin) were store-bought, but everything else pictured here was homemade. :)

Yes, it was my first tea party - what of it? =P

I've been to parties that served tea...and cookies. But never one that was actually called a 'tea party.' And we really did drink a LOT of tea yesterday.

My friend and her mom. A group of us girls helped with the food prep and brought some of our own treats to share. =)
