Your layout is so cute! I've been trying to make a custom layout, I utterly fail at graphics and coding though :( You're is adorable -stares longingly-. I wish I had your skills.

Aw, poor kangaroo! I could pick her up another one next time me or my dad goes to Australia, haha.

I've been wanting to use a custom layout for years, and I've always just ended up using the basic ones and adding a header. Lol. This one took me forever, so I'm glad you like it!

Thanks for the kangaroo offer, Emma. Haha! I think I'll manage to fix this one, though. It's just the ears. If he'd lost all his limbs, however, I'd probably think twice about putting it back together again. :D

I cannot even make a header haha. I am beginning to debate asking someone I know or a random layout person to make one for me. I really want a custom Hair one, I'd be so happy.

No problem! Haha, I have so many old stuffed kangaroos lying around my house.

I love the new layout, Kat! I saw it yerterday when I came to visit your journal ^__^
So cute and I love the colors etc. The result is awesome.
I wish I knew more about customizing layouts, coding etc.

Haha, kids are funny. You should see my little cousin. He is a little naughty boy.
That kangaroo plushie is cute. Poor him!

I'm happy you like it, Sheila! I think you know more about custom layouts than I do. I like your sidebar with the graphics in it. How do you do that??? I want one. :D

Yes, kids can say and do the funniest things. I haven't fixed the kangaroo yet. I'll wait until I'm really bored. Haha!

You are welcome, I think you did a great job on it! Looks awesome.
Custom layouts is kind of easy if you get how it works but coding is more difficult. I wish I were an expert on it XD
Customizing a sidebar is too easy! You could have asked me about it if you wanted to know how it works! I'll explain it to you so you can add things to yours.
Go to the customize options page and there you will see "sidebar" option on the left. Click on it and you will see this page: http://www.livejournal.com/customize/options.bml?group=sidebar
That's where you can customize it. Just fill the "Text to be added to the sidebar" part. You can add the text and the images you want there. Just upload them and copy and paste the img url code.
I hope that helped! =)

I don't have the sidebar customization option, I think because of the theme I chose. And also I have custom CSS that I've played with, but sidebar customization has to be done with a theme layer.

Oh well! Thanks for your help, Sheila. :)

Thanks, Clarice. ^__^ Yes, my niece sees me sewing, crocheting and knitting, so she must assume I can fix anything. Haha!

Aww poor kangaroo!

Also, you have a new layout! Very nice! And not that suprising given how many Jane Austen-ish books you've been reading lately.

Feel free to send a replacement kangaroo, Emma. ;D I'm sure you see a lot there. Haha!

I felt like I had the other layout for way too long (like a year and a half, I think) and it was time for a change. I know, it's not a surprise what I picked for my theme, eh?
