Mother Garden

I started my Christmas shopping last weekend and have been searching for gifts for the little kiddies in my life. I looked around FAO Schwarz at Macy's, and they didn't have much except a huge $70 Madeline doll that I wanted for myself. I went online to look for more cute dolls, and after clicking around all over the place, I found some cute MotherRead more... )

Yes, I think I heard of that community a few years ago. Or rather, I'd read about it in friends' journals. It's a cool way of spreading holiday joy in the 'virtual' world. :)

I love Mother Garden! They have a lot of cute stuff there, especially the strawberry and bunny stuffs. So cute! :D

I can't believe the holidays are creeping up on us and soooo FAST! I'm determined to finish my holiday shopping by early December. I've actually started a shopping list to keep me focused. *^^*

I was planning on making a shopping list too. Or maybe more like a checklist so I can mark whose gifts I've fulfilled. I've bought a gift for one person so far...that's a start! Most of my shopping I plan to do online. Less hassle.

Hi stranger, I found your journal through picturing food and like to look at all the kawaii thing you post. I was just wondering which mini laptop were you thinking of getting?

I really haven't got a clue about the mini PC thing. I just want something that looks like a laptop that's small and light enough to travel with, without having to bring my usual laptop with me.

Yeah, I just like being a busy body, I just got an Eee PC 901, and I just like to advertise (to almost everyone) how much I love it. It's very tiny and easy to use and it's a solid state drive! If you do get a netbook (and no excuse not to, their prices just took a dip!), I hope you'll put it into the running.

ASUS mini PCs are at the top of my list, actually. I just can't figure out what would best suit my needs. The solid-state drive on the 901 is a plus. I don't need a lot of hard disk space, though, since I'd mostly be using it for Interneting away from home. A 2GB or 4GB is fine with me, as long as there's an SD expansion slot.

Do you like Linux? I don't know much about that OS, but I've read that it runs better on mini PCs than Windows does.

Aww that's so cute! It remeinds me when I was a child. I had a kitchen with a fridge, food and everything. It was a lot of fun.
How adorable toys.

You wish list sounds great, mini travel laptop PC and an iPod touch are two awesome things.

I'm still finishing my wish list.

You had a play kitchen? That's fun! I never had one as a child, so maybe that's why I love these so much.

Yes, a mini PC and an iPod touch are some of the cool electronic gadgets I'd like to own. I guess I could always buy one (or both) for myself, but it's best that I use my money for other people's gifts. :)
