Just so you know, SCAD has really screwy admin. I applied for a Masters there 1 year and a half ago? And they could literally never tell me if I got in or not. Even after the school year had started. And they asked for me to pay for the semester. I had to send them a formal note saying I was not attending, as I had never been informed of my possible acceptance. If you do apply, apply early and be persistent.

On the other hand, I do know people who've gone there and liked the professors/classes.

that sucks! another plus for me and scad is there's all the fashion, you know...John Galliano came to the exam shows and everything and that makes me so excited I want to hyperventilate. I'm definitely one of those midwestern dags that reads Elle and New York over my lunches of canned soup!

Me too on the magazines/easy lunches. Yeah, I wouldn't write SCAD off by any means, but I'd just be ready to possibly have a mini admin battle.
