This song is (from what I can decifer and from interviews I have read) about Maynard's mother, who was partially paralyzed for 27 years (10,000 Days)because of a stroke. So the funeral arrangements have been made. Next Thursday, we are taking his remains out to Seattle to be buried with his parents. I am really happy to be getting out of state, even though it is for a funeral.
