So last week I had an interview and was offered a job. This morning I turned it down.

I had an interview yesterday which kinda made me realize the possibilities. I'm hoping I get that job.

And if not, I guess I'll keep looking.

Apparently Stanislaw Lem died yesterday. For those of you not in the know, he was a Polish science fiction author that wrote under the Iron Curtain. I was introduced to his work when I took a class on Eastern European science fiction. He was truly one of the greats.

So I'm working this week and most of the next, installing PCs in Crystal Lake. It's a damn long drive, but it's money. And I need it. Stupid bills...

I also voted today.

So I'm thinking of trying Linux again. This time, I'm thinking Ubuntu. I've heard good things about it. They even have a 64 bit version! Perhaps tomorrow I'll download the live version and see how that goes. =)

So I'm moving to Virginia. I don't know when yet. It's for a job.

That's about the extent of the excitement in my life. WoW consumes much of my free time. I'm still looking for short term part time work as I do still need money until I move. Wish I had some closure about that. Ah well. Guess I'll wait and see.

I'm safe and sound in Virginia. At the moment, I'm crashing at my aunt and uncles. Tomorrow, I go to crash with one of my cousins ( Read more... )
