About NCIS 10x22 - "Revenge"

May 09, 2013 21:48

It's... hard doing this review after watching "Double Blind". It was tough before, because "Revenge" sort of ripped my heart out on a whole new level, but now... now there's suddenly so much Tony!pain in my head and overshadowing the rest, and it's really hard to get my thoughts together while all I want to do is curl up in a corner and whimper ( Read more... )

I have to go to work soon (three hours early, grr) so this will be short, but yes, all of this!

I also can't wait to see what you have to say about the car, as you may have noticed I had a few things to say but I'm not sure if you will see it the same way. That car is just. It's way more than a car.

I wish I could say more right now, but I have to finish eating and getting dressed. Grumble.

You totally blew my mind with this observation.

Most of you probably aren't aware of it, but this was actually one of the most important moments of this episode. This was where the actual decision was made between them. The wordlessly asked question, so, where do we stand after Berlin? And where do we go from here?

I kind of blew my own mind when I noticed it the first time, lol.

I'm guilty for just going back up to the facepamler for a random laugh... And reading what other people say...

Facepalmer = best thing ever. I think I may need a print out of that for my summer classes.

I had an inkling that there was going to be more to Abby's questioning about Berlin and Ziva's response than initially met the eye, but you put it just right, as usual. Thanks!

During the gym scene...I was watching this ep with my Dad for the (3rd?) time, and even my Dad, who is like the most stoic person in the world when it comes to TV/movies (I guess thats where I get it from), reacted to Ziva's pain. He kept saying, "C'Mon girl, you'll never heal if you keep doing that to yourself!" like he forgot he was just watching something on TV, not in RL. Actually, having typed that....wow, what a perfect analogy to this whole end of season arc. Her fathers death brought back a lot of her past, so Ziva has to accept that and deal with it, which means regressing, in order to heal and ultimately, move on.

YES! Like a broken bone that set wrong and has to be broken again so it can heal the right way!

I still have some questions about some of the things in this ep. If Bodner is right,
1. Who killed Arash Kazmi and why?
2. Why did Bodner keep saying that there is more to it than what Ziva thought?
I hope they answer these questions. Although I have a feeling it won't be until next year.

Basically the same questions I have. I'm hoping they'll come back to it, even though realistically this is a matter for Homeland as well. However... I have kind of a gut feeling they'll brush that one under the carpet. Don't ask me why, it just doesn't feel like they intend to come back to it, for some reason...

I had the same questions. I'm thinking it's tied to the mention in the next episode of Schmiel and the Munich Massacre. They need a thru-story to next season and it would set up yet more angst for Ziva. I've never been good at prediction before so we'll have to wait and see.

I think it'll be like the whole end of season 8 thing with EJ, so it will come back in the middle of the next season, when they think we've forgotten about it. Personally for me it will be far harder to forget this than it was with season 8, because I never liked the whole Port to Port plot line to begin with. The only positive I can see in having to wait that long is it leaves plenty of time for some awesome sammy fan fiction....hint hint!

I want to know what Bodnar meant too! I really really hope we don't find out it was a set up between him and Eli, because imagine what that knowledge would do to Ziva :'(. I wonder if Orli will come into play again? I feel like the way they kicked her out was almost too easy.
