So, I just saw the teaser for "Star Trek: Into the Darkness". And I cannot stress enough how brain-horny this left me. Like, goose bumps that won't go back down. Like, holy crap, jesus, omg GIVE ME THIS RIGHT NOW! O_O

I am still wondering if it is actually a revisualization of Where No Man Has Gone Before, the very first episode that aired? The main reason, and I am so hesitant to say this cause you are probably going to poopoo me...The hairdo on the blonde. It is the hairdo that the Sally Kellerman character had in WNMHGB.

One thing I am sure of...I CAN HARDLY WAIT TIL MAY!

After the second version of the trailer and the one additional scene in that one I am pretty sure the Khan rumor is true and they'll re-enact the second (classic) movie. Which already blows my mind on so many levels. (It's also a stroke of genius because it gives them the starting point for the third movie...) And I'll probably leave the theater in a state of total numbness.

I've only seen the one trailer. The blonde is Carol Marcus you know. The movie of David Marcus. Kirk's son who was killed in The Search for Spock. Man, we may get to be in at the inception of David!

I don't really care you know, which one it is, or if it's either of them, I just want me some more Trek!!

My best friend, who is also a total Trek fan, fell in love with Quinto's Vulcan lips.
She rhapsodizes about them still. Now she can get a new fix!

Oh, I added the second version to the original post, go take a look. It's really just one scene more, but that one left me sobbing, I kid you not.

It's a good thing I started getting my living room in order. Maybe I can unpack my DVD boxes this year after all and dig out the first movie. Or maybe even have a classic movie marathon.

Also, for your friend - I have rarely laughed as hard as I did when I saw this photo. The Nine Inch Nails song will never be the same for me. ;)

And Benedict Cumberbatchs voice ist really outstanding - can't wait for the second part of the Hobbit where he will be the voice of Smaug, the dragon.
