I had a total nerdgasm with the mentions of Skyrim (I'd never played an Elder Scrolls game until Skyrim came out in November, and I've even been playing it the last few days after a few weeks off dealing with other geekery) and the Mythbusters. <3
... And the Tony stuff was good, too (ALL THE FEELINGS). XD
Well, just watched it and returned as promised. Once again, a great review. It forced me to pay more attention, although I don't like to be very focused on every little detail otherwise I feel I miss the "whole" package if you know what I mean. So, I don't freakin' know who's behind this, I will wait for the finale to see ;) About MW, I never doubt - not even for a second - about his capabilities as an actor. This episode is one more proof of that, in a large list of examples. Only one thing is frustrating me... DO WE REALLY HAVE TO WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR THE NEXT ONE?....dying here :P....
I liked this one. A lot. Would like to see the character of Jason return perhaps in the future. He was that well written and that well played. BUT not as a dead body. hehe
I agree with all you said above, Sammy. (I know. Don't faint please.)
I do have a couple more thoughts though. I would have liked to see some flashback in Ziva's mentor episode last week. To me, its always better to show than to tell and telling is all we got for Ziva from Monique. I have a feeling we were given a glimpse of something Tony may have to face again in the season finale with his line about saving the ones you can. It just smelled like foreshadowing. And how cool was it to see my personal favorite amateur pyromaniacs, Jamie and Adam from Mythbusters? I howled.
Hum. Many are talking about Tony's line "...save the ones you can". It would be very traumatic to Tony to face again a situation where he has to choose, perhaps that will happen, but not with him (give him a break!). Maybe Monique - after dealing with the wrong people - sacrifices herself for others, making Ziva leave her behind to save the team. But that's just me rambling...If so, it would be a Tony/Ziva/Gibbs finale and some people wouldn't like that :P.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind at all if he was the chooser. In fact I have some great and *romantic* ideas for that of course! Lol...But usually what I imagine doesn't happen. But I believe that Monique will redeem herself in some sort of way...and *click*...my mind starts imagining a variety of insane/beautiful scenarios... :P
Well, let me be true. I write stories in my language, stories that I'm thinking about sending to book editors this summer. But I'm not taking it seriously, though, it's just fun. My mind travels a lot and is filled with stories and characters, some of them I know, others are created in my brain and I feel a need to let it all out sometimes because is filling my head and I can't think clearly. Lol. But I read fanfics about NCIS - Sammy's fics included - and I like them, but my english sucks big time and I'm not good at all at NCIS jargon...so, I will try to scribble something over the summer. But I will probably not show it to anyone, because I'm silly like that lol.

But then again I've oft been wrong.
hehe
I must admit I am liking more and more the idea of a showdown between Sam Ryan and Monique Lisson.
In my mind, the finale should always be about the team in some way, no matter what guest stars they have on it. Or how many.
