Thank you. Yes, I know why people were upset after seeing this episode, trust me. I was, too. But it wasn't quite as bad as it seems at first glance, and aside from two uncomfortable scenes it was an extremely enjoyable episode for me.
I have been going back & forth on this episode for longer than is healthy (lol). I still haven't decided which side of the fence I am on. Your comments were very helpful in clearing up a few of my WTH moments. Thank you.
I know, sweetie. Trust me, I didn't sleep all that well after watching it, too. But there was just so much stuff that worked well for me that I think this shouldn't be forgotten.
Last night, I didn't like the episode much at all (probably because it was followed by NCIS: LA, whose Christmas episode I totally loved except for a few random things), but after another viewing on its own, I came away... not really in love with this episode, but I don't hate it either. I guess I could take it or leave it

Oh god! That, that! I hadn't even thought about it! That his work and family can go hand in hand (and bye bye rule 12!). Michael Weatherly, you are a genius! Chris Waild actually confirmed MW came up with the cup thing. Ah yes, rose colored glasses are a wonderful thing! ;)

Maybe I'm reading too into this, but I kinda squeed a little when he put the "family" cup inside the "job" cup...

Or maybe I'm just seeing it through TIVA-colored glasses?
But it was so deliberately set in there.
