So J linked me to this comic the other day, and the following conversation ensued.
Me: I love how his idea of a librarian is basically someone obsessed with silence, myopic and angry.
J: stares at me
Me: Well, I'm not really obsessed with silence....
J: stares at me
Me:...ok, the squeaky mouse really was a bit bit much and stressing me out...

Even if I knew nothing about your platform, I would totally vote for you based on your campign slogan.

Having million (or trillion) dollar budget shortfalls without talking about raising taxes just boggles my mind. J and I aren't well off, but we're doing ok, if we need to chip in another hundred dollars or so to ensure streets get salted in the winter, and paved in the spring, trash is collected, and libraries keep their doors open I'm fine with that.
