I don't know the show, but I still quite enjoyed this (and I know just enough about Jack that his reaction to the transition revelation made me laugh).
I also like finishing the story with the doctor's meeting.

I'm here thanks to a rec from mizface, and she certainly did not lead me astray. This was a complex and very sensitive look at Iona/Ianto's journey, and I appreciate all the thought and research that went into this story. Well done!

You totally nailed what being transgendered and male feels like - or at least, as it feels to me. This story fills me with an inordinate amount of hope. It's a beautiful thing. Thank you for writing it.
