It does seem to be winding down, but this 'end' started bunches of chapters/months ago. So we probably still have some time left; it moves slow.

And yes, Hinata's appearance was pretty much a tease. XD

Well, keep in mind that after they deal with Pain, they still have to resolve the whole Sasuke and Madara matter (which could take who-knows-how-long). I hardly believe this particular arc is THE last one, though I do think you may be right - it does seem to be winding down more (especially since the body count still is rising ;_;).
