CALLING DC FANDOM

Have you felt low on encouragement? Like your stories, art, and icons aren't being noticed by anyone? Has the fandom seemed to have come to a crawl?

You aren't alone.

For many of the familiar faces for LJ DC, the lack of responses and comments on work has caused a general apathy about posting. There are thankfully new fans surfacing every day, but ( Read more... )

Absolutely LOVE you!!!

Here's mine. It's Cassie from Teen Titans #1 with the idea of "What if the police officer wasn't an agent of N.O.W.H.E.R.E.?"

I am so sorry you haven't been feeling the love, lately. I know you are a regular reviewer and I really appreciate that you've kept it up, even when people weren't returning the favor. *hugs*

I know I've been doing my best to leave feedback. I've also noticed the lack of feedback on many stories.

That would be because you are generally awesome and utterly amazing at all things. *nods*

Also, since you primarily have recs and other fascinating tidbits, you can pick what three things you'd like me to review - I know you've done vids in the past. So, three of anything you'd like given special attention. ^.^

Um, I can't think of anything right now for review purposes... :) Have you seen Avatar: The Last Airbender???

What a glorious idea! I do my best to leave fb on every story I finish and every piece of art which captures my attention, but the truth is that I haven't been looking at very much. Still -- I'll be pimping this.

I'm absolutely guilty of the same thing. I've been a terrible reader the last year or so, but I figure even if I only read one fic a week, no matter how small, that's one comment that wouldn't be there, otherwise.

This isn't a request for reviews (I don't write/draw), but uh, just an apology for all my 'great job' comments! I'm really not very good at detailed comments on fics, no matter how much I love them.

Oh no! Not what I meant - great job comments are LOVELY. I know it's hard to write a detailed comment every time you review. Sometimes, 'Great Job' is the clearest comment you can give because a story just made you all sorts of happy on the inside.

The fact you consistently leave reviews means the 'Great Job' is sincere.

I just didn't want people thinking that I was opening a piece, not looking at it, and just slapping 'Great Job' on the bottom.

*BIG HUG*

You're one of the people who I can always count on to leave a nice thought at the end of the story. No apologies needed.

*Hugs back* Aww, that's sweet of you to say. :)

I'm glad my comments convey how much I enjoy reading your fics, even with the minimal wording. :)

Oh and also, it's really cool of you to do this whole reviewing thing, hopefully it'll help other authors/artists feel appreciated. :)
