Ah, that reminds me- I have to ask Set if he still wants to try calling out his ka at the park during a silent moment.. that way, we can try if your magic works as well too. *tilts his head* That Maboroshi's aibou cannot conjure magic does not surprise me, but I thought Maboroshi would at least... *trails off* We would have been doomed!

Really? If he agrees I wouldn't mind joining you both. I don't think my magic enjoys being quiet. I don't think he wants to risk trying anything...something wrong with the puzzle I think. One is bad enough, two would be a nightmare.

*smiles at seeing her happiness* You are very welcome, Mana. I know, that is why we try it in a secluded area first. I have tried to conjure the Shadows for a Game, and it worked. I made it disappear as quickly as possible though, so no one could feel it. Ah, when it came to studying, we could do anything *sighs*

*grins* You are right as always. Oh...those are great news. This way you can protect yourself in case of danger. Because since when is studying fun? He needs to get out more. *grimaces*

*nods, content himself* Yes, I am glad it was working fine, now we only have to try and see if your magic will work. His idea of 'getting out more' is to go to whatever shrine, meditate, study some more and more study. *sighs*

I can't wait! Pharaoh-sama...why do you think your puzzle works and yet Maboroshi's doesn't? I hope he has gone to the festival at least. He promised he would.

*rather blunt* Because I am a real Pharaoh and Maboroshi has forgotten everything about it, Mana. I know how to wield the Puzzle, he does not. *ignores the fact that the red beacon is influencing the Items* I am afraid that, now we are not there to remind him constantly, he has forgotten about it.

Pharaoh-sama...it's not his fault that he has forgotten, remember? *softly* I thought so too. He would grab the opportunity to run from it with both hands *rolls eyes*

*grumbling, but gives in* If only he had not forgotten what caused him to forget... besides, I do not see him working very hard to retrieve his lost memories, or to discover the cause of his memories being so scattered... *another sigh* Remember how we had to drag him to the ceremony of the Nile? He was buried under a mountain of scrolls.

I think it does pain him not to know...and he feels sorry he can't remember Mahaado-sama, Set-sama...all the people from the court I guess. But what can he do? *nods somewhat exasperated* He just sat to the side like it was the most horrible thing he ever had to witness. Brooding!

He could show interest in talking to me- if I truly am him in some strange way that time has mistaken itself, he can learn everything he wants to know from me. I guess he is too busy with his job, from what little he told me about it. *melancholical smile* And he used all that time to come up with extra complicated assignments for us the next morning.

*gives him a look* Pharaoh-sama, have you shown any interest in talking to him either? I do know you two don't exactly think the best of each other. Teaching...I call it pure revenge. *small pause* Do you think he is alright?
