Ado: 1. Heightened fuss or concern 2. Time-wasting bother over trivial details.

NOT the same as "adieu," a French word meaning literally "to God" and used as a form of farewell. The phrase is "without further ado," just as the Shakespeare play is called Much Ado About Nothing.

I also find myself having to reiterate the difference between "loose" and "lose" quite often.

I'm seeing it more and more frequently.
Even in supposedly official documents.

And ya know what happens when you correct them?
"Oh don't be so anal!" or "So what? I can't spell."

No, you CAN spell you just choose not to and look like a moron in the process.

Ah yes... and then there's the difference between "can't" and "won't"...

I hate that wallah thing sooo much... ugh!

I must admit that I am also a pronounciation Nazi. The worst are things like "nuc-you-lar," "expresso," and "fur-miliar." And when my boyfriend says that something "costed" five dollars. I guess that's what happens when you grow up with non-native-English-speakers. Still, it makes me wonder how five dollars managed to accost him.
