Yaay~! You guys know how I was working on a skirt? And I posted that entry about being a failure at sewingWell, last night I decided to try to fix what I did wrong & continue on with it. Aw, it's so cute~! Great job!! ^O^ That's really good for a "first piece of decently constructed clothing", too. I remember the first skirt I made that was wearable....it was about three inches too short for passable lolita, and I tried to do pleating without measuring and put in a built in petticoat with cheap tulle and cheap race.
It was horrendous. I loved that skirt. XD

But yours looks really nice! The ruffles looks really even, too! (The ruffles on the skirt I made recently look like a freaking maze, I don't even know what some of them are doing. xD)

Thanks, but I think the ruffles are uneven in my opinion XD Like, some parts are more ruffled than others :D

I used cheap lace on this one cause it was like a test run on my skills.

It's really hard to get the ruffled parts even. @-@ It takes alot of practice and even then it's difficult.
