Hooray for Matthew! That sounds like a wonderful time! And congrats on your $600 saving.

i think my definition of "saving" is flawed. Its like somebody who spends $1500 on a half-price sale and thinks "but just think of how much I saved"

Congrats on your Nova prospects!! How exciting, and how awesome that you could be doing Nova in Melbourne! Clearly quitting Cotton On was a good move. By the way, your Material Boys have stretched considerably, in a good way.

Also, that would be a $700 saving... even better!

shiny disco balls... "Look at them shine! Look at them shine!"

yes they are actually very comfortable now - and maybe even (at a stretch - no pun intended) good looking?

Apparently there's a new TV show with the boosh boys in it - Dan told me about it but i've forgotten the na,e

Is it this? It looks pretty good - is it on TV?

Yeah, they are! I think they fit perfectly now - they must have been designed to stretch to fit.
Are the middle girl's jeans not kosher? They're very wide.

good that you're earmarked for bigger and better things, good about you learning the panel thinggy so you can do some announcing shifts, and good that you're happy and things are going well for you (other than the car thing, but good that it wasn't worse!). That good enough for ya?

you lucky skunk you, life looks pretty swell. the bounce in your words makes me real proud buddy.

in other news, the only person in my hostel beneath the age of 30 is a new zealander (at least i think he's under 30) who reminds me of nothing so much as a young david brent. first night here i was the youngest person in my dorm by about 20 years. ugh. yeah, i'm moving hostels on tuesday. i can't bear another night of seeing people sitting on the couches reading. and trying to avoid this dude. it's turning into an extreme sport.

but nonetheless life is good, edinburgh is astonishing and when i move hostels, everything will be pretty sweet :D

as for snakes on a plane, when me and michael went to see 16 blocks the teaser for it came on, and we both knew what is was for and i started freaking out getting all jiggily and cheering in an audience full of young teenage boys and old couples 40 and up. they all just looked at us like we were insane, but it's such a great teaser. heheheh
