(X, S/K) No Angel Came

This is in response to shineko's challenge for a die-hard S&S fan to write a GOOD S/K fic. Well, this is quite possibly the most miserable thing I've ever written, so it must be S/K. Watch out for spelling errors, as I currently don't have access to a spellcheck and I feel distinctly bleary-eyed.

Wow. It's been a while since a story in this fandom actually unsettled me (the last time was a story by Leareth that I don't think I could ever read a second time, no matter how fantastic it is). The image of the scetch of Seishirou really got me-- I thought that was brilliant. Also, I agree with you, I've always thought there was nothing reciprocal about their relationship. Though, CLAMP seems to think they're funny... a lot of the scenes in the "X" manga, you'll notice are mirrors of "Tokyo Babylon", only with Kamui and Subaru instead of Seishirou and Subaru. But, back to the point, this is fantastic, I think you really captured the situation well.

I am _so_ incredibly late with this.

But I just wanted to let you know that this was actually difficult to read. Your writing style is so... vibrant, reading this, I felt _so bad_ for both of them. Kamui's akwardness made me feel embarrassed for him.

This was difficult to read because toward the end, it was hard to see the screen. You actually made me tear up at this. I can't think of the last thing I've read that actually caught me off-guard like that.
