That's Sing Hallelujah, which is shamefully one of only TWO Bomb Girls ficlets I've ever written. Okay, time for three things I like about it!

1) I love that Kate chooses to come back! Like, Betty wants to save Kate and of course Gladys wants to save the entire world, but none of the rescuing matters if it's not Kate rescuing herself! Because personal autonomy and growth! I think that this ficlet circumvents portraying a lot of the growth by way of being a ficlet, but KAAAAAAAATE. KATE CHOOSING HAPPINESS AND LOVE AND BETTYYYYYYY BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T MAKE HER CHOOOOSE.

2) I think Gladys Witham: Devoted Betty/Kate Shipper is the best best best and she gets to be out in full force in this fic. Like, RUNNING AWAY TO BORROW A PENCIL AND PAPER when Kate and Betty need to have a one-on-one conversation! Gladys, your face.

3) Betty is dimly aware of Gladys clutching her arm, beaming, but all she can see and hear is Kate, standing tall and radiating joy. She’s only this unguarded when singing; she’s only this unafraid when singing ( ... )
