I do like the 'flip' in this - from science guy, who knows better, to guy with a problem, where was the harm in experimentation?.

Thanks! That's the conflict I hoped to evoke, and I'm sure deep down there's a bit of Owen that can still laugh at himself. At least once morning comes.
