Yay, thank you! This is sort of based on the beginning of a longer Owen/Katie fic that I've wanted to write since Fragments and just never managed. I think I got hung up trying to do research on the British medical education system...

Thanks! Aww, you even have an icon. I'm a believer that Owen probably acted just as much of a bastard before he met Katie as he did when we met him in Torchwood. Something had to have helped him show his decent side to her. :)

I loved his backstory. I can picture him being cheeky and/or sarcastic when he met her but in my own personal opinion a lot of the bitterness came after losing her.
