Title: What's the Opposite of Pathetic Fallacy?
Author: rustydog
Characters: Connor, Cutter
Ratings/warnings: rated G, no spoilers
Notes: Written for primeval100 challenge 152 Thunder and Lightning and "U" in my alphabet prompt table. Dust storms can kick up static electricity like nobody's business, so don't try to touch your car during one!

While explaining his theory, Connor watched Cutter. In the middle of a sentence, Cutter's eyes seemed to focus in the distance behind Connor and turn stormy. Connor almost thought he saw sparks in them.

Great, I've said something idiotic again, he thought, but just then Cutter lunged toward him and grabbed his arm. As he was pulled away toward their vehicle, Connor managed to glance over his shoulder at the anomaly. Roiling out of it was a thick, ugly cloud of dust and lightning - the storm he had just seen reflected in Cutter's eyes.

Well, that was all right then.
