So, probably because it goes along well with a side of academic self-loathing (still can't remember a damn word of Greek to save my life, yay), I've decided I loathe my hair and something must be done with it. And so I turn to you, dear friendslist--what shall I do with my hair? Dye it? What color? Cut it? Devise a new way of styling it? IDK KIDS

I agree with the blue hair. I used to always get bobs because I never knew what to do with my hair. And then, one day, I permed it. ... bad idea; it was cute for a time, and now it's a giant poof ball. I would suggest you dye it, instead...

Maybe some layers would work? That way, they can shape your face and would be easy to work with styling wise. In terms of dying your hair, I'd try a shade of brown with a touch of red in it. Or, if you want a bright color, maybe do some streaks or dye the tips? That way, if you don't like it, you can easily fix it. In my opinion, I wouldn't go overboard the first go-around, especially if you have not changed your hair in a long time.

One tip would be to find a site where you could upload a photo of yourself and be able to actually get a general idea of what different cuts and styles would look like.
