She's very busy and into pretty much everything. But really, she's pretty mellow for a toddler. She doesn't have tantrums (yet) or get overly cranky or fussy unless she's overly tired or something understandable.William was very much the same way -- very mellow and rarely into fits (well, except for a short phase that all kids hit at one point...) -- and although it is possible that you and I both just lucked out with well-tempered kids, I suspect that it's probably a combination of their natural state PLUS our commitment to Attachment Parenting and paying attention to instinct that allowed our kids to adopt such temperaments. I have always enjoyed seeing you write about things and seeing how strongly you are following what your maternal instinct tells you that she needs. Well worth watching indeed! C & I are going to be spending the day alternating between making goofy faces and laughing hysterically in her honour :)

The laughter is indeed infectious! I'm so much happier having that laughter in my life. It's hard to feel down when you hear a baby laughing. Maybe good therapy for depression? :P
