She's very busy and into pretty much everything. But really, she's pretty mellow for a toddler. She doesn't have tantrums (yet) or get overly cranky or fussy unless she's overly tired or something understandable.William was very much the same way -- very mellow and rarely into fits (well, except for a short phase that all kids hit at one point...) -- and although it is possible that you and I both just lucked out with well-tempered kids, I suspect that it's probably a combination of their natural state PLUS our commitment to Attachment Parenting and paying attention to instinct that allowed our kids to adopt such temperaments. I have always enjoyed seeing you write about things and seeing how strongly you are following what your maternal instinct tells you that she needs. And by this age, you can tell which kids got their needs met, and which were sorta left behind because mom just couldn't do what was necessary (for usually understandable but very sad reasons

Awww, thanks! :) It can be really hard being an attached parent. It takes a lot more time and work and often others don't understand (mostly our parents), but I do feel that it's paying off.
The laughter is indeed infectious! I'm so much happier having that laughter in my life. It's hard to feel down when you hear a baby laughing. Maybe good therapy for depression? :P
