Beautiful! Did the color change because of a new skein? I could see using some scraps for this project...

Thanks! I used Noro silk garden which is self striping, with loooong changes. BUT I used 5 different color schemes because I wanted it gender neutralish and random.

Thanks! You'll get there!! Just takes practice!! if it makes you feel any better I've crocheted since I was 5 but I couldn't figure out granny squares until I was in COLLEGE and I brought my mom a stack of granny... circle-y octagon things. She didn't believe me when I told her I couldn't make them square. lol!!
