I should let you know that I think your gmail has been hacked, because I've gotten random emails from you recently that just have a link. I don't know if you know this or not. :P

You and everyone else has let me know. It got hacked seriously before I went to Japan in February and now they're just faking my email address. There's honestly nothing I can do about it anymore; I've changed my password three times and track my IP logins like a hawk but nobody's logged into my account since that first time. I'm sorry it's such a hassle but at this point I can't do anything.

It's okay, I just didn't want you unaware that it was happening, I just delete them when I get them as per my usual procedure.

Sigh, I know. I need to stop snapping at everyone that mentions it, sorry ;) At least we know it's annoying for everyone? haha

Ooh, if you like the style of smart.fm you might want to try anki, which is still free and operates on a similar (spaced repetition) system, with less of a social networking bent /random advertisement XD

...Tomb Sweeping Day? That certainly sounds like an interesting holiday.

You know, I thought I downloaded that but I don't know where it's gone. Thank you for reminding me! I'll check it out next week some time.

Yep! It's the one where you tend to the graves of those past, burn paper money to send to them, and generally remember your passed ancestors. The actual day is Tuesday, hence the random three day weekend with Saturday makeup day.

I'm sorry about your bike! I hope you're enjoying your new one.

Feel free to come over and crash over at my place when the guest stuff gets to be too much (minus your parents, of course).

It's not too bad. It rides nice and smoothly in comparison, that's for sure! But still. I miss my old one.

I will probably take you up on that! What are you up to this weekend?

Not too much! I need to start packing up parts of my apartment and get some writing done, but otherwise free as a bird. :)

Well, my friend leaves on Saturday. There's a gig on at Jianghu Bar up near me if you're interested, but if not I could come down on Sunday if that works into your schedule okay? We need to talk about what you're going to make me write! ;)

sorry to hear you were sick, hiding away and being selfish isn't always something to feel bad about.
i had my bike stolen last summer and i was so upset about it. I left it unlocked for like 30 minutes in front of my friends house and when i came back it was gone and some shitty broken bike was in its place. I was especially upset because my dad had found it for me and had worked really hard fixing it up and it was my favorite brand and I just loved it so much. My dad was really sad too so I felt even worse. I think stealing a bike is such an awful thing to do....
I have been throwing my money away on clothes recently too and sometimes it just makes me feel awful because I don't really need them, but just like you I don't have something to save up for right now. It's so easy to spend money online because it doesn't even seem real, at least your $111 went to a good place :)

Thirty minutes! That's almost even worse! I mean, I felt like it was almost my fault for leaving it there for more than a week, but thirty minutes is totally just some douche taking advantage quickly. That said, I always lock my bike even if I'm going into a shop for two minutes, haha.

Yeah I don't feel too bad about the money to the Japanese Red Cross, because at least that's for a good cause. But then blowing money on clothes and stuff like that? I feel bad, somehow, even though I don't have anything else to spend it on.
