Tim waited until he was sure that Cissie would be home again before calling her. Conn had told him all about what she had done, where she had ended up, and the ensuing fight. He... wasn't going to yell. Really. But come on. He knew she had more sense than that.

Cissie picked up her phone, smiling when she saw who was calling. She answered, "Hi!"

"Hey there, gorgeous," Tim said, smiling a little into the phone. "How was your flight?"

Cissie wasn't really surprised that Tim knew she'd been traveling. She wrinkled her nose a little. "It was fine. A little turbulence and my ears popped a lot landing, but otherwise okay."
