I quite liked these; the colouring was lovely and the cropping drew the eye. My only negative would be feeling as though I had to peer at some of the icons in order to see who they were! (The OUaT icons, I mean.) I would have liked to see close ups as you did in the other icons in this batch.
Also, thankfully, no spoilers which is a huge thing for me at the moment; I’m only up to episode 7!
OUaT screencaps are always nice to colour :D I'm trying to do more close crops, but sometimes I feel that the icon looks really bad. But I'm still experimenting :D
Beautiful icons, Amy! I clapped when I saw you posted some new icons. I snagged a few of glee and OUaT. I will credit you....Thank you for making and sharing!! :-)
I love your icons. I love the way you're playing around with complexity but not changing your style. I love 1, 4, and 18. Also ouat! I just started getting into that show.
In terms of concrit, I would say that there are a lot where the contrast is just taken too much in this batch and the face becomes too white/washed out. Which you never ever had a problem before, so it's probably because you're experimenting, which isn't a bad thing! But it's just something to watch out for. I.e. 9 and 11, and also some are a little grainy, maybe intentionally, i don't know, like 3, 14, and 17. But overall I think it's awesome that you're experimenting and the icons are amazing like always!
Thank you :D I always like experimenting with my icons, I'm a bit scared that they'll turn out repetitive and boring if I don't try new things XD.
I can see what you mean with the washed-out look, definitely the experimenting I think. The grainy looking icons were intentional, I was trying out some new textures. Aww thanks, I'm glad you like them
