As threatened, here's some snippets and pix about our fambly vacation...

We started off with a visit to my mother and stepfather in bucolic Nottingham, PA.  Their house is on the edge of Horseytown, USA. Probably the best place ever for a pre-tween girl because every window of the house you look out of has a view of HORSES and PONIES.

I can't say for sure what way the roosters swing. The farm has a strict "don't ask, don't cluck" policy.
