We are SO thrilled!! The therepists have said they think he's higher functioning than they first thought, despite his being non-verbal. Mama WILL NOT DO the ABA treatments, she says that she doesn't train her dogs that way, she certinally isn't going to treat her (he's not hers biologically, but he is HERS) child that way, and she's really big on meeting Just's needs on HIS terms. And it's paying off!!!

She and Mama are still talking, Evan grabbed the phone away from her to get his bit in, then Mama thwacked him and grabbed it back.

I don't know if she can use this or not, but if she can, she'll figure it out!!

I don't know what kind of party Just would like...maybe something that involved Mama singing a lot. He likes that, and playing her guitar. And maybe food that he likes. You know, hot dogs, mac&cheese (but not around dinner time, it's too orange) potato salad, stuff like that. Nothing big, but the problem is, that people WILL get excited, and it will turn into something he doesn't like. Let me think about it.
