Well intriguing is great, but DARK?! What the hell, Bryke, just because Katara was on a plot for revenge with Zuko in The Southern Raiders doesn't make them a dark pair. I re-watched Zuko/Katara vs. Azula fight, and MAN...Zutara rules me life forever.

I don't know if you saw my post, but I actually liked the Maiko better. I just like to see Zuko happy because he's one of my favorite characters. And for now, until he and Katara finally wake up and jump each other Mai makes him happy.

Katara never really showed her affection for Aang before then, so I wasn't quite as happy about it. But I do agree that it was cute. *traitor with you*

Another thought on the Maiko kiss. I keep seeing icons of it so it has me thinking:

It was pretty. It was kinda hot. I just liked how her hand wrapped around his neck and was ruffling the bottom of his hair a little. And their height matches well. I like personally for a guy to be taller than the girl. That's something that's always thrown me off about Kataang.

Yes, I know Aang will get taller; he hasn't hit his growth spurt yet. So maybe if Avatar had been set a couple years down the road, I'd have been more into Kataang. Aang would have been more mature all around and most importantly... taller.

Ah, there's supposedly a new set of episodes in the works, but it's gonna be focused on a different incarnation of the Avatar, not Aang.

I dunno when, but... if you wiki it, it'll pop up in there.
