mp4 anyone?

The community I was part of and "used" [EZ] is now offering only mkw files for whatever reason- they still have the same video quality and there are no subs or additional audio files, as it's costumary with .MKW files - and they are, I feel, heavier on my old computer. Also, not  all my tvs at home like mkw files, so it's annoying to have to ( Read more... )

I download all shows from http://watchseries.ag/ which has mp4.

I use yourserie.com, which lets you choose from avi / mp4 / mkv.

I tend to prefer mkv these days because of the smaller file size (like you, I buy DVDs when I particularly enjoy a show - which happens a lot - but I also keep the files because I'm unable to throw stuff away, which means it all takes up a lot of unnecessary space, both physical and on my hard drive) but when it's something I want to watch on the big TV screen for some reason, I have to go for the mp4 format because otherwise it won't play them.

I had the same problem with a LJ comm that I've always used recently switching to MKV files :( I wonder what the reason could be to suddenly change like that, I've always understood that MP4 or AVI are the easier file format for most people to use, I can't even get iTunes to recognise MKV
