Thank you very much! That blog is very interesting and I will be combing it for useful info. I write fanfiction for Doctor Who, which runs fast and loose with history, but I find that building that silly universe on reality helps a lot.

The tag "middle ages", by the way, will include non-European stuff, but still is probably the best way to find medieval stuff.
